By Cindy Ferguson

not something many achieve throughout their career and definitely something to be proud of.

Modano was pampered by teammates and greatly cheered and applauded by a crowd of 17,618 and when he went out for his next shift, it served as a curtain call as he was welcomed by one more roar from the fans.

Modano was out for some time due to an injury he suffered in his hip and missed out 23 consecutive matches in December and January but has proved to be back in shape and more ready than ever to give his best.

The Dallas Stars are scheduled to play again Thursday, March 15th against the Calgary Flames once again at home at 8:30 pm EST. You never know maybe Modano will keep adding on to his goals and break another record to give Dallas fans more surprises and reason to keep supporting their team.
